Use the port’s ecosystem to develop new opportunities

Projeto de P&D para reúso de sedimento de dragagem

Developed in partnership with the State University of Northern Rio de Janeiro Darcy Ribeiro (UENF), the project aims to find sustainable and innovative solutions for the reuse of sediments from the dredging of the Port of Açu in the production of materials for civil construction. Through the “Innovative Company” grant program of the National Council for Scientific and Technological Development (CNPq), ten scholarships have already been awarded to researchers and students from UENF.

Project 1 – Partnership with UENF

Developed in partnership with the State University of Northern Rio de Janeiro Darcy Ribeiro (UENF), the project aims to find sustainable and innovative solutions for the reuse of sediments from the dredging of the Port of Açu in the production of materials for civil construction. Ten grants have already been awarded to UENF researchers and students through the National Council for Scientific and Technological Development’s (CNPq) “Innovative Company” call for proposals.
