Prumo Logística, the holding company responsible for Porto do Açu, achieved a highly significant milestone in 2024: Top 3 in the Transportation and Logistics category of the renowned Valor Innovation Brazil Award, organized by Strategy&, PwC’s strategic consulting arm, in partnership with the newspaper Valor Econômico. The award, which celebrates the most innovative companies in the country, highlighted the outstanding results achieved by Grupo Prumo and Cais Açu Lab, the innovation ecosystem of Porto do Açu.

In the 10th edition of the Valor Innovation Brazil Award, leading companies across 25 sectors of the economy were recognized, along with the 10 most innovative companies in the country. The ranking included the 150 most innovative companies, based on transformative initiatives, investments, and intellectual property.

The figures from this edition reinforce the relevance of the award:

309 companies registered across 25 sectors, a 10% increase compared to the previous year;
273 companies eligible for evaluation;
770 cases analyzed, with 265 intellectual properties confirmed;
85 billion reais invested in innovation, 15 billion more than in 2023.
