The “Water Drop MARAI” IoT technology, certified with the Green Seal by the Chico Mendes Institute, is being used in environmental monitoring at the Caruara Reserve, located in São João da Barra, RJ, an area of great ecological importance.

This initiative is made possible by the collaboration between Cais Açu Lab and the startup CHEMICAL, developer of the technology, which has stood out for its commitment to sustainability and innovation. Together, they are promoting the preservation of this unique ecosystem through continuous digital monitoring of water quality, providing authentic and reliable data.

The partnership with CHEMICAL is an important milestone, not only for the use of innovative technology, but also for demonstrating how the private sector can be a strategic ally in promoting environmental initiatives that aim to improve the well-being of society as a whole. The union between technology and sustainability opens up new perspectives for the preservation of vital ecosystems, reinforcing the commitment to building a more balanced and responsible future.

The Caruara Reserve, renowned for its biodiversity, is a natural heritage site that requires special care. With the use of Water Drop MARAI, the initiative contributes not only to best environmental practices, but also to strengthening the blue economy and meeting the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

This action represents another significant step toward a more sustainable future, in which innovation is combined with environmental responsibility to ensure a positive legacy.
