We are delighted to announce that, on November 26, 2024, Cais Açu Lab (Collective for Innovation and Sustainability) was awarded first place in the Innovative Initiatives category during the ANTAQ 2024 Awards, promoted by the National Waterway Transportation Agency (ANTAQ).

 

This achievement represents recognition of the Port of Açu’s innovation strategy, consolidating Cais Açu Lab as a benchmark in open innovation practices, strategic partnerships, and sustainable actions in the waterway sector. The award reaffirms our commitment to driving positive change through collaboration and innovation, values that permeate all our initiatives.

 

In 2024, Cais Açu Lab stood out for its broad scope of action, with significant results:

• +100 initiatives involving open innovation, research and development, intrapreneurship, and strategic projects;
• Actions focused on a culture of innovation and social innovation;
• Programs such as the Cais Açu Lab Award, Conecta Cais, trend radar, patents in development, and interaction with development agencies.
