It is with great satisfaction that Cais Açu Lab and the Port of Açu won third place in the Port Operations and Management category of the INOVATIVOS 2024 Award, one of the most important digital innovation events. The recognition was given to the Digital Twins for Nautical Buoys case, an innovative project that highlights the use of advanced digital technology in the port sector.

The INOVATIVOS Award celebrates digital innovation solutions and highlights projects that go beyond their specific areas. We are especially grateful to our partners PhDsoft and UMI SAN Hidrografia e Engenharia, with whom we collaborated to develop this benchmark solution, as well as to FINEP for its support, which makes projects like this possible. We are honored to be finalists alongside major projects such as those of VLI Logística and GRUPO CBO – Companhia Brasileira de Offshore.

This award highlights the importance of the port sector as one of the major drivers of growth in Brazil, according to the Inovativos study. This achievement is another step in our journey of innovation, showing how technology and collaboration can transform the industry and boost the country’s economic development.
