PortosRio hosted the Conference of the Association of Portuguese-Speaking Ports (APLOP) on the 25th at Pier Space in the Port of Rio de Janeiro. The theme was “The role of customs in innovation, digitization, and sustainability in ports.” The event brought together experts and representatives from different Portuguese-speaking countries to discuss the challenges and opportunities of port modernization.
Among the highlights of the program, at 11:30 a.m., was Panel II – APLOP Working Groups, moderated by José Luís Cacho, APLOP Advisor. During the panel, Juliane Carneiro, representing the Collective for Innovation and Sustainability Actions (Cais Açu Lab) of the Porto do Açu, joined the Working Group debate, contributing reflections and experiences on Innovation and Sustainability.
